Record-Breaking Facts and Figures

This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is called “Record Breakers” – and it’s certainly lived up to its name in Hammersmith and Fulham Libraries!

More children joined this year in all LBHF libraries compared to previous years, with over 820 children taking on the challenge. Hammersmith Library has been especially busy and has seen a 50%  increase in the number of children taking part. Already, more children have finished the challenge than in the whole of the summer last year!

It’s not too late to take part: children can still sign up to the challenge and there’s plenty of time to read  the six books and collect your completer’s medal – so join up and become a Record Breaker! It’s a great way to end the summer.

We’ve added some of the highlights from our packed summer of events and activities to the gallery above – enjoy!
