SPINE Festival encourages children and people of all ages to explore and express ideas creatively, to stand up and be heard, and to view their local libraries as the cultural spine of their community. SPINE Festival aims to engage more children and young people with literature and creative and cultural activities in their local libraries, as well as to encourage connections for longer term impact.
Spine Festival 2016 celebrates arts and literature across London libraries with loads of FREE fun activities and events for children, families and young people. From music, dance and drama, to poetry, storytelling and animation, there’s something for everyone!
Over the 3 day festival we are lucky enough to have Poet & Writer Paul Lyalls as our Artist in Residence and we have an action packed 3 days of events taking place in the library for people of all ages, these are free and there is no need to book a place!
