It was Roald Dahl’s birthday on September 13th (he was born in 1916 and died in 1990, at the age of 74). Dahl was and remains a beloved author for children of all ages, with classics ranging from Matilda and James and the Giant Peach to The Witches, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Twits… and many more!
Every year, on September 13, we celebrate all things Roald Dahl. This year, Fulham library got crafty!
Twenty children had an afternoon of creative fun, making Mr Fox, Charlie from the Chocolate factory and Mr Twit – including ‘Mrs Twit’ as modeled by Margaret! See the gallery below for some fantastic crafty characters.
